We had vacationed in the Monterey Bay Area for 40 years and really liked it, so we leased an apartment in Pacific Grove for a year to see if we would like to purchase and retire here. Our ocean view, walking trails, and nature views of deer, seals etc. we’re beautiful, but the people were fearful and faithless with a really weak Catholic Church. The real estate is grossly inflated and the windy days were too numerous to count. Needless to say we left after our lease expired.
